Up above is the second of three episodes of Radio Free Charleston devoted to Tribute To The Troops II. On August 11, Wood Boys Music took over the Saint Albans City Park Amphitheater for an all-day all-ages benefit show for our troops. Over eleven hundred dollars was raised for The Wounded Warrior Project and The National Guard Fund, and our cameras were on hand for the first half of the concert.Last week you heard Harrah, In The Company of Wolves, and Everpulse. The show kicked off with Cadence Weaver singing the National Anthem. You can see that show here:.

This week you will hear music from Breedlove, The Under Social, Remains UnNamed and Johnny Compton.

Before the music starts, we bring you a short film that shows you the work of one of the beneficiaries of Tribute To The Troops II, The Wounded Warrior Project. This is a great cause that helps our wounded and maimed soldiers segueway back into society after their service. If you would like to donate to this cause, visit their website for more details.

Our first band this week is Remains UnNamed, Charleston's metal veterans who perform their new original song, "Flatline." Remains Unnamed treated the crowd to a killer set and their leader, Hugh, was one of the few people who knew in advance that the Radio Free Charleston cameras were going to be onhand for this event.

Next up, we have The Under Social, a new band featuring Stacee Lawson, one of the standout performers at Tribute To The Troops I, which can be seen in RFC 141. The Under Social also deserve a little apology for me listing their name as one word in the credits instead of two. Sorry, guys. We'll get it right next time.

Headlining this episode is the long awaited Radio Free Charleston debut of Breedlove, a group of veteran Charleston area hard rockers with an incredible array of original tunes. We hope to bring you much more from Breedlove in the future. This time, you get to see them performing their song "Every Dog Has Its Day."

Playing us out this week is our old pal, Johnny Compton, of Mother Blues, Prank Monkey, Diablo Blues Band, and Scurvy Dogs fame. Johnny treats us to a powerful acoustic rendition of "Highway Song."
